CORPUS CHRISTI WELCOMES FIRST P.F. CHANG’S CHINA BISTRO
Nation’s Leading Chinese Restaurant Brings Signature Dining Experience to Corpus Christi
Corpus Christi, TX (June 29, 2010) – Today, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro (NASDAQ: PFCB) debuts their popular Chinese cuisine to the Corpus Christi community. Inspired by the traditional flavors of China, P.F. Chang’s offers an upscale dining atmosphere with contemporary Chinese design complemented with a panoramic, hand-painted mural depicting ancient China.
While the stylish décor provides an inviting backdrop, the new 6,700 square foot restaurant’s cuisine is the main attraction. P.F. Chang’s features made-to-order entrees using the freshest and highest quality ingredients and offers a variety of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, noodles, rice, vegetables and desserts, priced between $7.95 and $22.50.
While the menu illustrates the emerging influence of Southeast Asia on modern Chinese fare,
P.F. Chang’s also showcases a variety of chef-inspired menus and specialty items. Guests can enjoy the special “Chang’s for Two” menu option of a four-course meal for $39.95 (per couple) and P.F. Chang’s renowned Gluten Free menu. In addition, the restaurant also offers Happy Hour from 3-6 p.m. daily, and features a handpicked selection of wines by the glass or bottle, including P.F. Chang’s new custom wine label, VINEYARD 518. With 38 wines by the glass, an extensive signature drink menu and freshly brewed loose-leaf teas, there is always a perfect pairing to any meal.

While at first glance the new Corpus Christi restaurant does not look much different from previous locations, it is in fact designed to increase P.F.Chang’s commitment to sustainable design. Working closely with Aria Groups Architects, Inc. and Shawmut Design & Construction, P.F.Chang’s will not only open up a new store, but reveal their first ever LEED-certified Commercial Interiors restaurant.
Many of the green initiatives designed into this store will be implemented on future stores.
P.F. Chang’s is located at 5488 S. Padre Island Drive in the La Palmera Shopping Center. The restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight. The restaurant seats 201 guests, with additional space for patrons on the patio.
